To cut or not to cut? That is the question!
About three months ago I took the plunge and chopped about 16 inches off! It took me months of contemplating before actually doing it, but I’m so happy I did! I had been growing it out for years, but it had gotten to the point where it was no longer a style, I was just afraid to cut it. For me, the last straw was having my hair in a ponytail (on top of my head) and still having it go in the sink while brushing my teeth!
When I finally decided to cut it, I decided to cut it right below my shoulders. I think this was a good point to start with, but honestly, I’ll probably go about two inches shorter next hair cut! Aren’t sure if you’re ready to take the plunge to chop the mop? See the quiz below!

After the cut
It took a few days to get used to having “short” hair, but it was worth it! I no longer dread showering and styling my hair. It doesn’t take me thirty (painful) minutes to brush through the tangles for wearing it down or twenty minutes or more to blow dry it. I style my hair more than ever now and in way less time!
Are you ready to cut your hair now? What style are you thinking of going with? Layers? Bob? Angled? Is there a celebrity cut you’re dyeing (dying) to try? share below, I can’t wait to hear!
